Mary and the Donkey

At church yesterday, we read about Mary riding a donkey to Bethlehem before the birth of Jesus. I shuddered at the thought! Can you imagine this girl on a donkey?!

I would have petitioned Caesar Augustus for a waiver! And we think modern government is ridiculous about taxation. :) I could barely fit in the car at this point. Getting out of bed took 5 minutes.

    Al, I love you but I have to admit, I laughed my butt off at this blog. You're so silly! If it makes you feel any better, I was the same size as you are here when I was pregnant with Kyleigh:)

    Seriously, that would have been quite an experiment! Get Allison on a donkey and ride for 100 miles. Honestly, I'd feel more sorry for Nate having to listen to me complain for 3 days!!
