I hope everyone enjoyed our Halloween picture! It was absolutely mad and crazy, but so worth it. They looked adorable. We went over to our brother and sister-in law's house to see some family. I can tell that Buzz Lightyear is the costume of the year! I wanted to do something creative and silly but they are too young and would just cry the entire time. It's fun to join in the festivities this year as a parent. We've gone over to their house many years, including the ones where we was waiting for our own children.
Here are some updates on the kiddos:
Caroline is still sweet as can be. She seems to be teething and is munching on her thumb and forefinger like crazy. Her stubbornness is coming out a little more as she has a harder time rolling around and learning how to get where she wants. No crawling yet. She laughs all the time and is definitely the easiest to entertain.
Townes deserves some serious props. He has come from a colicky little monster to the sweetest little boy. He laughs like crazy and likes to entertain us in the jumperoo. He still has episodes of crying and is sensitive to loud noises, but NOTHING compared to a few months ago. He will calm down so much more quickly. He allows our parents to take care of him without crazy stranger anxiety. No crawling but this guy can roll across our bonus room like nobody's business. We've had to start childproofing and moving furniture out.
Oh Natalie. This is our diva. She has a constant smile on her face and laughs like crazy. She starting saying "dada" this weekend!! I was a little jealous that she didn't start saying mama first. :) I know she doesn't know what it means because she calls our cat Zeus and the poison dart frog on her jumperoo by the same name. Still, very cute and it makes us laugh. She needs the constant spotlight!
